Part 1: Understanding Soil

Learn about the Soil Food Web and its significance, how to evaluate the quality of soil and compost, and much more. This session will equip you with the foundational knowledge you need to take care of your soil to grow nutrient-dense and resilient plants for you and your family.
Part 2: Garden Planning

Time: 1-2:30 pm
Using the knowledge gained in the first session, participants will come together to crop plan their gardens. Leila will guide you through selecting suitable crops, understanding seasonal planting, and setting yourself up for a successful growing season.
