Join artist and basketmaker Emily Ridings for an experimental basketry workshop exploring the possibilities of form, function, and weaving.

You’ll learn basic basketry techniques and use them as a starting point for developing shape and structure. Rather than following a set pattern, you’ll be encouraged to let the material guide you in creating a piece entirely your own. 

Your finished piece can be functional, sculptural, or somewhere in between. No previous basketry experience is necessary, just a willingness to create!
