Painted with natural oil pigments on old found wood. This series specifically is painted on pieces of the 1947 stair treads that came out of artist, Meghan Aileen’s house. The dark aged wood backdrop creates a warmth that can’t be replicated. Allowing some of the wood to show through in the thin layers of the sky lets the wood speak. Thicker layers in the bushes give dimension, texture and interest.

Measuring 10”x12” comes ready to hang with wire on the back. Can be displayed on a wall or on a shelf or mantle. Group pieces together for a more impactful presence.
